LOL!
I was banging it out on the keyboard as fast as I possibly could, cursing my fingers for not moving quickly enough, with the same thought in my mind.

I'm actually a tad annoyed as I'd seen that email in the inbox about an hour ago and not bothered to look at it while I finished my pint (of tea) and an email I was working on.

Never again! I'm setting up an Iconbar inbox right now.

Will it be a 32-bit Zool, or does the Iyonix come with Aemulor???

This isn't meant to be a flippant comment. If Zool works natively on the Iyonix, it must be a good sign as to how easily a 32 bit version of an assembler program can be produced, and how compatible the Iyonix/RO5 really is.

Unregistered user I just wanted to make clear that it is not CDBurn that is bundled, but CDBurn Lite. Slight difference there. You can get a cheap upgrade from WSS by the way ;-)

Sorry about that although it was an error in the press release sent to us.
I've added the word 'Lite' to the news item.
Cheers!

Unregistered user Aemulor isnt bundled with Iyonix, Zool has been converted to 32-bit.

We hope to have the first release of Aemulor "out the door" in about a months time.

Keep your eye on www.aemulor.com

Cheers,

Neil

Unregistered user hmm... looks very tempting... but will it be enough to tempt any windoze users (or for that matter users of Mac OS X or Linux) to risk buying a RISC OS computer.

Also Does this mean it's the end of Risc Os Ltd. and i've just subscribed to select as well.... oh dear.

Unregistered user The copy of Oregano 2 is crippleware. You can't resize the browser windows, you can't download files (.ZIPs, for example) and, and this /really/ annoyed me, nowhere does it mention that it's a crippled copy! Also, if I can't download using it, how am I going to get a full copy? Will I even be entitled to a full copy? Just a simple Readme file with these details would have been greatly appreciated and might have warned me not to dismantle my old RPC just yet, as I now have major difficulties downloading files I want to. e.g. Thump - 32.

Unregistered user I've asked them to make Iyonix updates available via ftp as well, to avoid the ridiculous Catch-22 situation of not being able to download updates because the supplied browser is broken.
