Drobe is down - RISC OS world attempts to deal with it [updated]

Drobe LogoYes, Drobe is down. No, we didn't do it. Their servers are down for upgrading. Sh*t happens. That's all I have to say on the matter.

Update: Drobe is now up and running again after restarting the servers earlier today.

Unregistered user You think they'd be back by now? How long does it take to reinstall an OS and restore everything?
The Iconbar has a chance to cut through Drobe's fog of smarm and sub-register.co.uk done-to-death humour to become by far the best risc os portal.

Unregistered user It takes very little time to change hardware and reinstall OS's (I was done in about an hour, and drobe took less than an hour to setup this morning). *HOWEVER* It _does_ take a long time to soak-test the hardware to check for defects.
If I had not bothered to soak-test the box then I would not have noticed one of the 3 512M DDR RAM modules was faulty.
