Most people got bored with RISC OS and/or annoyed about the OS split and the general lack of progress being made, and in fits of insanity all went out and bought Macs (Except for me tongue)

(In case you're not up to speed - For the past few years Castle have been developing RISC OS 5, and RISC OS Ltd have been developing RISC OS 4 Adjust/Select/RISC OS 6. There has been little/no serious co-operation between the two parties).

And although the site is still here, we're generally too lazy/apathetic to post articles.

The good news however is that Moss has a successful web site business, and (once I start working on it again) I may actually release a decent RISC OS game. Also the Benevolent Dictator (Rich) is birthing a new server, so that we may continue to waste his bandwidth fees at least up to the start of the next decade.

[edit]

And Playpen/TIB-startup web browser NetSurf is quite spiffy.

[edit #2]

I am failing at URLs this morning unhappy

looks like I was in front of the curve buying a mac big grin

I've been glancing at the riscos situation once a while and thought it's pretty pathetic.

ah.. Netsurf.. I remember being part of that team in sourceforge a long long time ago. But I quit quite early in the process (mac switch).

funny to see the forum at TIB being quite lively though.

Grr! I'm no haiku-writing motherfucker! How dare you imply I own a Mac! tongue

I did just install the Mac fonts on my desktop and the new server though - but I also installed the Vista ones, so don't read too much in to it wink
