...has to be John Ward, surely? He's resigned from Medway Council after claiming on his blog that there should be compulsory sterilisation for parents on benefits.

He wrote an article about blogging for the latest Qercus too - I'm sure that's an interesting read in retrospect. shock

John's taken the articles down now, so I don't know the full details of what was posted, but the comments on this Daily Mail article are quite depressing enough.

Err, so, yes. Nothing much more to say on the matter; it was just strange to read a scandal in the Metro about someone I'd heard of from Acorn's corner of the internet.

Jesus, I knew the Daily Mail was hardly a pleasant paper, but so many of their readers AGREED with him. It's humbling to realise how easily National Socialism could have happened to us if Hitler had ben British. "Well, you can see his point".
