I put PlaySound, plus all my small/unfinished bits of software online again.
http://mark.scholes.org.uk/software/riscos
It's almost all BASIC, so it should work on anything, although I think PlaySound uses an old filetype for mp3, need to make a beta 6, only been 10 years.
Let me know of any problems |

Playsound:
Good
Now I have a way of playing music (it is *all* ripped WAV) without having to use !DigitalCD.
The Icon bar actions part of the preferences doesn't work and dropping a folder into the queue window ends up with the tracks in the wrong order despite their filename starting with a proper number (i.e. 01 blah blah 02 blah blah).
Also seems to take an age to start playing too - there's a significant pause between each track...
Machine is PandaBoardES RISC OS 5.19 |

Iconbar actions is probably just checking with inkey when it receives an icon clicked event.
Do select and adjust options work, is it just shift etc that doesn't?
I suppose the folder dragging is just adding them in the order risc os sends them, need to add a sort routine.
Not sure why there's a pause, are they local files?
I'm behind on what all the new machines differences are, if it works on PandaBoard does that mean it'll work on everything else? |
