<slownewsday>Now that the secret's out on the ArgoNet newsgroups, let's all take a moment to congratulate
Bob Ruskin and
Gabi Finan on their impending nuptuals.
Bob and Gabi, for those of you who don't know, work for ArgoNet, Bob as Sysadmin and Gabi in Accounts. The actual date won't be for about a year, which seems about right given the wages at ArgoNet Towers. They're incredibly shy, so please don't email them to congratulate them. Especially not at happycouple@argonet.co.uk. That would be really embarrassing. Oh yes.

Make a change from myself not to be Rich's topic of interest for slow news days.... Mind you, doubt I'll be invited either! |

Lack of news is not in itself news - I think Douglas Adams has already dealt with this (if he hasn't, he's leaving it a bit late). Instead of having a dig at web sites, have you (not) congratulated Bob and Gabi yet? |

Will you be catching the thing that the bride wears on the thigh and throws to the guests Rich? |

That would be a garter. Which would be difficult if I'm not invited. Isn't that an American tradition? I've never been to a wedding where the bride starts throwing saucy underwear. Maybe I'm just not going to the right weddings. |

Yes I think you're right. I should have said bouqet, but I don't expect you want to be pictured with a bunch of flowers do you ? ;-) Not invited? You practically own Argonet don't you? |
