The Icon Bar: News and features: Director goes open source

Director goes open source

Posted by Richard Goodwin on 21:29, 21/5/2001 | ,
Following on from the recent move of AcornICQ into open source, Director, the menu-driven desktop tool has also been placed in the SourceForge.

Due to lack of time and other commitments the original author, Nick Craig-Wood, has been unable to carry on development, and so Philip Ludlam stepped in with a few enhancements. However, in the future they would like the project to continue as a collaborative effort.

You can find out more on the new Director website here.
