Rich's Post-Holiday Catchup

Here's what I missed on my time away from the keyboard - I'll try and be brief this time, honest. Omega sighted at press briefing, just as I go on holiday... Cerilica has a new publishing pack (#2) for barcodes, bleaching, framing, scaling and, um, flashing... ArtWorks updates: AWSwitch for better antialiasing; plus new AW sprites on the MW site... Viewfinder to go the subscription for updates route... AcornSearch downed by hard drive failure, promises to return... And yes, Chocky receives enough support to start releasing his Unix ports.

I dunno, you japesters. I didn't go to Margate OR Bognor. There are some photos of Arundel Castle, Fishbourne and some gardens on my website though; more to follow.

You really could make a great adventure game out of your website snaps. Remember Arya :The dragon's quest?

Someone ought to dig out the graphical adventure creature PD program.

The reason I haven't got all my photographs up was that I took advantage of the fact that my flat was actually tidy for once, and I've decorated the living room for the first time in the five years I've been there, to take photographs of the whole flat and assemble them into a virtual tour*. I'm sure the PHP written for that could be developed into something more sensible...

*no, you can't see it. I'm not letting just anyone traipse through my flat looking for things to steal.

They'd have to fight their way past all the junk first ;-)

(but that was before you tidied - although I haven't seen the fruits of that effort yet!)
