News Roundup

Time for a roundup of a items of news that may have passed you by.

Qercus 274
Issue 274 has been posted to subscribers, and should be in newagents next week. John Cartmell, editor has said that this is "a very full issue".

Software
Michael Borcherds has contacted us to let us know that he has released new versions of some of his software. WinClip 0.15 (free), 6502Em 4.00 (15ukp, 10ukp upgrade), Z80Em 4.00 (15ukp, 10ukp upgrade). Michael told us "WinClip has been updated by George Saliaris with some bug fixes and the ability to handle larger BMPs". The two emulators now run on the Iyonix PC aswell as other updates listed on his website.

Wakefield Show
The WROCC are looking for computer stuff™ for their stall at the forthcoming RISC OS show. Due to EU bureaucracy they are unable to accept any computers, monitors or printers. They will however be happy to accept software, memory, addon cards, CD's, manuals, magazines, etc, and I wouldn't be suprised if they accept higher spec computers such as working StrongARM Risc PCs upon arrangement.
Items can be brought to the show on the day, or sent/taken to:

thornespark04FAO: TERRY RIGG - WAKEFIELD 2005 RISC OS SHOW
Wakefield Hospice (Fund Raising) Ltd
Hemingway House
Thornes Moor Business Park
Thornes Moor Road
WAKEFIELD
