I'd be willing to sell you my copy for cheap, but be warned that it never really worked properly as it crashes all the time.
You might have more luck with it on a StrongARM machine. It doesn't run well on the Iyonix with Aemulor.
It's the non-copy protected version - they removed the copy protection shortly before they disappeared off the face of the earth. |

Why don't you just buy a copy of ArtWorks instead and save yourself a lot of hassle. |

You might have more luck with it on a StrongARM machine. It doesn't run well on the Iyonix with Aemulor. I never had any more luck with it on my SA RiscPC, tbh. There's one specific workaround in Aemulor to allow Vantage to run at all. Beyond that, with it not being stable on my RPC, it seemed a waste of time trying to make it more stable on the IX |

I have to agree with the others - much as I'd love to shift my copy of Vantage, you'd be far wiser spending your money on Artworks.
It was 200 odd quid originally, and I'd sell it for 50...
A company I worked at years ago originally bought it, but I was given it when I left as I took the computer with me. |

Just in case you haven't been keeping abreast of developments to the scene, when they say Artworks, they mean Artworks 2, which has had a lot of improvements over v1, and no dongle required!

and your old copy of Artworks1 still qualifies you for a discount when you upgrade to Artworks2. www.mw-software.com
i saw somebody at Wakefield buy a second-hand copy of Artworks1 at the charity stall, then go straight to Martin Wuerthner to upgrade at the discount. Martin told me he was quite happy with that as (a) it meant more profit for him, since he didn't need to pass on a royalty to CC (i might have misunderstood that part) and (b) it also benefited the charity. |

Sorry to drag this up... Did you get anywhere with getting a copy of Vantage/Artworks2?
I have an unwanted copy of Artworks 2 that I can sell you at a discounted rate if you are interested. I no longer own a RISC OS computer, so switched to Xara Xtreme a while ago. |
