Can someone give the server a kick?

All attempts to gain FTP access to http://www.starfighter.acornarcade.com/mysite are stalling at the 'connection established' or 'STOR' phases.

As a result two pages - the title page, which was a casualty of testing, and the screenshots page for the 'Sewage Works' WAD, which was the page FTP broke in the middle of updating - are currently empty documents. I have no way of correcting this.

Calling Rich - this is your problem, please fix it!

FTP seems to be working OK for me. It's probably worth dropping him an email about the problem, since I'm not sure how often he drops by the forums nowadays.

Well, whatever the problem was, it worked yesterday.

I did hear tell about a mythical and dangerous bug in something which resulted in a completely incurable server hang if you uploaded too many files at once, but this is the first time I've been bitten by it...

EDIT: And, come to think of it, six months ago I uploaded about forty vast MP3 files in one go and nothing batted an eyelid.
