That'll be a no, then  Think of it more as "it doesn't not work".  Pah. I should probably explain the madness above. If you're running RO5, run !Writer, set the font to Cyberbit (or Unicode font of choice), type *country japan in a taskwindow, then hold down Alt and type the alphabetic keys on your keyboard. If you type them in the same order as I did for .uk, above, you'll see what the .ja line _should_ look like. Rinse and repeat for the others Oh, and remember to do a *country uk at the end  |

The Icon Bar doesn't specify a character encoding anywhere, and it appears to simply store the bytes it receives, and then escape them as ISO-8859-1 upon display, leading to what you can see.
Oregano 1 is even worse when it comes to form submission; it submits Latin-1, no matter what character coding the page itself is in... |

Oregano 1 is even worse when it comes to form submission; it submits Latin-1, no matter what character coding the page itself is in... How rubbish. Although that may be entirely valid.
