New RISCube website and RISCube64-X2

R-Comp Interactive is pleased to announce two new developments related
to our popular RISCube range of computers. Firstly, we have spent the
summer completely overhauling the RISCube website to give far more
information and many more pictures and illustrations of our computers
and the technology they employ. We have adjusted prices and
specifications, and the new site contains nearly four times as much
information on the various models. The new RISCube website can be
found at http://www.riscube.co.uk/

To coincide with the new site, we have launched an exciting new model-
the RISCube64-X2. The highlight of this new machine is its CPU - it
has two processor cores on board, for multi-processing. As you'll
read on our website, this allows RISC OS to be running on one of the
processor cores, whilst Windows operations (eg. printing via Uniprint,
system maintanance, virus scans/security while using the Internet) can
take place on the second core. This results in much smoother
computing, better multitasking and fewer interruptions. Additionally,
if you need to run demanding Windows software (eg. video editing or
many graphics apps), then they will take advantage of the dual-core
system to nearly double performance. To top this off, we've managed
to deliver the system at the same 1199ukp (inclusive) price of our old
RISCube64ultra, without compromise.

The new systems will be on show at Guildford, of course, but remember
that you'll usually get the best deal if you order pre-show for
collection *at* the show, because it cuts out delivery charges.

Take a little time to check out http://www.riscube.co.uk/ - we hope
you like what you see.
