R-Comp and RCI at Wakefield 2006 - New Products!

It is show time once again, and R-Comp are pleased to announce some
brand new products for the show!

HTMLEdit Studio 6 CD

Our HTMLEdit range of web page authoring software has been
well praised through the years, and keeps evolving and
expanding. The (rather gargantuan!) aim of Studio 6 was to
enhance every part of HTMLEdit, Web Designer's Toolkit,
WebSpell, and even add-on programs such as SiteMaster and
WebUpload. That's a *lot* of software, and yes, it has all
     been updated, enhanced and improved.

     Studio 6 includes:

           HTMLEdit v6
Web Designer's Toolkit v3 (consists of 8 programs)
           WebSpell v3
           WebsterXL (page designer's version)
           SiteMaster v3
           WebUpload v3
           Textures

Each program has been updated with new features to the
Studio including XHTML support, cascading style sheet
handling, javascript files, improved image conversion,
better handling of file extensions, HTML 4.01 as the
baseline standard, and lots more. Interfaces have been
revamped, upgraded and made more intuitive.

The whole Studio (barring the odd bonus utility) is now
Iyonix and A9 safe, and comes on CD with the complete 100+
page manual transcribed (and updated) into electronic form.

Despite consisting of far more software than previous
HTMLEdit Studio releases (the individual components sold for
approx 175ukp!), Studio 6 will be available at the special
price of 75ukp inc VAT at the show.

Upgrades from Studio v5 cost 30ukp, whereas users of older
versions of HTMLEdit can upgrade to the full expanded Studio
     6 suite for 49ukp.

Grapevine 2.11

Our popular Grapevine software, which allows RISC OS users
to communicate with friends and family in real-time over the
internet (it is compatible with PCs, Linux, Macs etc), has
reached version 2.11. The latest 2.10 and 2.11 versions
include a cavalcade of new features as well as updates to
deal with the latest changes to the various protocols. If
you use the internet (especially if you are on broadband)
Grapevine should be an ESSENTIAL part of your arsenal, so
don't get left behind! It now also includes support for 7th
Software's new virtual desktop program, so that you can see
when contacts communicate with you, even if they are
     off-screen!

NetFetch 2.20

The latest version of NetFetch has been updated to be up to
10 times faster when fetching email. RISCube owners may see
benefits up to 20x or more, thanks to architectural
advantages of those systems! RSS news feeds have been
enhanced, and more power-user options are included in this
release. A9 support has been enhanced, and more...

New Product!

We shall be demonstrating (and possibly taking orders for)
an exciting new product which will open up many new
possibilities for scanning and digital camera use on RISC
OS, and maybe more! If that sounds interesting to you, make
a beeline for us at the show!

Internet Suite for Virtual Acorn v2

We have a new version of our Internet Suite for VA users.
This provides full internet facilities under Virtual RiscPC
so that you can do your email, send/receive files, access
web content and more, all from the safety of RISC OS. Keep
the nasties at bay, and enjoy all the advantages of RISC OS.
The new version incorporates the enhancements of NetFetch
     2.20 and Messenger Pro 4

Printed Manuals

The Messenger Pro 4 printed manuals are now available, and
will be available at the show!

Messenger Pro 4.10

The latest version of Messenger Pro includes a revamped
address book, enhanced features for users of Distribution
Lists, and a full speech synthesis system, so that you can
hear your emails read to you, or receive audible
     notification of new arrivals etc.

RISCube, RISCBook and *new* RISCtower news

We shall have the latest in our RISCube range on display,
and be introducing a tiny new Tower system, capable of
housing 2 CD drives or multiple hard drives. The new
systems use Intel processors (ideal for video editing or
other number-crunching tasks) and fill several gaps in our
product range. Machines are available in "spacecube" or
"riscube" variants, and prices start as low as 399ukp
     INCLUSIVE!

At the higher end, you'll be able to see RISCubes running
with multiple processor cores, and the latest cutting edge
     technology.

We will also have a selection of RISCBook laptops available,
and will be offering some exciting new dual-core centrino
models. If you follow our RISCBook news, you'll know that
*one* centrino-based CPU is great - now you can have 2!
