My bad - I'd changed all my domains to use my new server, and forgot that AcornArcade shouldn't do this.

Should be back up again tomorrow...

I own the acornarcade domain, but since it's hosted on the TIB server, the DNS servers are not owned by me (or weren't until this afternoon).

I've just reconfigured the DNS for that domain, and also added the web server as a temporary DNS entry on my server, so at least here it's working. Email won't be working, but once the original DNS servers are back up, it should be fine.

Sorry about that - I had a bit of a major panic when I found that a few domains suddenly stopped working because someone had unplugged my old server without telling me.

I've not been able to connect today.

I can't connect to tribbeck.com either.

Hmm.

Both should be okay (note you need to do www.tribbeck.com and not tribbeck.com - I've not setup the short-DNS for it).

It's all working from the office - even levels.acornarcade.com, which I hadn't set up on my home DNS (I was only concerned with the main www).

My guess is that your local DNS is a little behind the times, and just needs a little catchup.

I'd say it's not quite ready for the general public yet (I'll repeat the reasons here, for the benefit of others):

- I had to take the unit apart to get one of the speakers working (and solder it back on).

- The memory card supplied with it didn't work properly (my brother's got that now)

- The headphone socket doesn't appear to work at all

- The joystick's very dicky.

- The build quality isn't the highest.

It's odd that this isn't working; I don't think I actually changed that domain. Do you know which DNS server you're using?

*show inet$resolvers
Inet$Resolvers : 194.117.157.4 134.117.157.3 62.31.64.116

And I'm using NetSurf. I couldn't connect to AcornArcade at uni either, didn't try www.tribbeck.com from there though.

Okay.

194.117.157.4 is using yesterday's accidentally configured DNS, but it should still give www.acornarcade the right address.

134.117.157.3 doesn't appear to be a DNS server (I'm guessing it's meant to be 194.117.157.3 - although this isn't responding either).

62.31.64.116 isn't replying back to me, so I can't tell what it's using.

You could try adding 158.43.240.4 - which is one of Pipex's DNS servers; they're normally pretty reliable, and I've used them in lots of places. I also use them to see when DNS has propagated.

With 158.43.240.4 as the first one, everything's working fine. Thanks!
