Youtube is a good place to keep an eye on if you are looking for some interesting RISC OS content. Here are some recent items you may have missed....
If you missed the South-West show, you can catchup on what
Steve Revill,
Steve Fryatt,
Matthew Phillips and
Andrew Rawnsley had to say. Wifi Sheep also published a video on their
show highlights.
RISC OS continues to be
a good option for the RaspberryPi. There is a nice
installation guide,
The
wifi sheep channel has lots of interesting content related to RISC OS and 8bit systems.

A particularly good introduction to RISC OS is one of Chris Barnatt's 'Explaining Computers' series of videos, at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL4w3AK6Qpw Note the very large number of comments beneath it, many positive. |

May I suggest that you add the link to the article above to make it more visible to your readers?
There are too few well designed videos showing how to use RISC OS, i.e. that don't just point a shaky camera at a monitor and improvise a voice-over.
The feedback comments on Chris Barnatt's video keep coming, and are interesting when they display misunderstandings that could be cleared up in another video perhaps.
I am interested in doing something along those lines. Is anyone else? |
