Wakefield Show Updates

Thornes Park Athletics StadiumWith the recent server problems we haven't covered some news items such as the Wakefield Show which is happening in a month's time. Chris Hughes, the show organiser has kindly sent the last three press releases that didn't get through.

Advance tickets are available from now until 8th May, and can be bought online using a credit card on the admission section of the show website. All advance tickets are £6.00 except 5year olds and under who are free. Tickets are also available on the day for £7.00 on Saturday, and £6.00 on Sunday. (5 and unders free).

"Advance Ticket holders and those purchasing a ticket before 12 noon on Saturday 15th will also have the chance to enter a special draw. This will be in addition to the other draws throughout the weekend and a another big prize to be drawn for all visitors over the weekend on the Sunday."

The ever popular charity stall is once again looking for donations for their four sided open stand. Proceeds will be primarily going towards the Wakefield Hospice. Items can either be taken to the stall on the day, or sent in advance (details here...).
