'Jupiter and Beyond' by Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Tristar & Red Sector Inc. ranked 3rd at the Revision 2013 party, 'wild demo' compo.
It runs on a very low spec ARM Cortex STM32F4 board. (The board does not even have a VGA output so it is up to the CPU/timers to generate a proper VGA signal via the GPIOs.) |

However:
(The board does not even have a VGA output so it is up to the CPU/timers to generate a proper VGA signal via the GPIOs.) In this video they used DMA to send the framebuffer to the GPIOs. So it's not quite as impressive as generating the VGA signal purely in software (Assuming the same technique was used for Jupiter and Beyond) |
