Unregistered user A friend of mine is an Amiga fan - always prattlling on about how good the two graphics chips are. But does he have system-wide anti-aliased text? I don't think so.

Yes, that about sums it up.

There were some concept designs for a new Amiga OS posted ages ago, I can't remember the URL but I've uploaded a copy to http://www.endoria.net/upload/index.php/1564394454 - these have been around for about a year IIRC, so why the sucky icons in the current version?

Unregistered user So are Amiga's still being made and developed - or is it just the old OS that is being patched or emulated?

Unregistered user And it's only 640x480 by the looks of things.

Amiga: I know what! I'll make a nice new GUI, which has a 640x480 max resolution, with large fonts to make it easy to read but impossible to work with, and transparent multicolour windows so you can't tell what colour anything is because you can see straight through it! And I'll use .'s to seperate thousands instead of ,'s, so it looks like we have a millionth of the free memory we actually do have! That'll *really* get new customers coming to us smile
