VirtualAcorn gets better laptop support

Posted by Andrew Poole on 16:39, 7/10/2002 | , , , ,

The VirtualAcorn emulator has just progressed to version 1.3, which includes better support for laptops and speed improvements. In the press release, VirtualAcorn state that the new version "includes support for integrated graphics cards as found on many laptops and some cheaper desktop computers."

In adition to the graphics enhancements, the new version also includes a 'scrolling desktop feature' which allows large RISC OS desktops to be displayed on smaller resolutions. Also, long filenames are now displayed in the RISC OS filer where in previous versions, they were truncated.
